dark horse teams to watch in stanley cup playoffs?
this takes out the favorites. I'm talking about sleeper teams or teams that most people don't expect to win. for me its mostly any team with a good goalie. like the rangers, kings, and habs. i know they aren't the greatest teams in the playoffs but with the goalies they have they have a chance of stealing some games. i honestly think that a rangers vs habs conference finals would be a good series.
rangers had a bad start. but in the 2nd half they were one of the best teams. and the flyers played really well in the 2nd half too. honestly anyone can come out of the eastern conference. its so wide open.

Columbus Blue Jackets. The Penguins choke in the playoffs all the time, and neither the Rangers nor the Flyers are any good. If Boston doesn't make it to the conference final, the Jackets have a legitimate shot at making it to the Stanley Cup Final. The West is much better, but the Jackets' momentum just might carry them through.

The Minnesota Wild have such phenomenal skill. Parise, Koivu, Heatley, Moulson, Suter, etc. The list goes on. They also have fantastic uniforms.
