Christians, are you scared of upsetting god?

In case he sends you to hell.

Update:

Because I want to know, which is why I asked the question. Why did you bother answering?

God is not the big mean man in the sky with a whip. He does not kill or send anyone to hell. Hell was made for the devil and his angels. It is like this, if you do not accept that Jesus is God's son then you can't go to heaven. You don't have to go to hell, but you can't go to heaven.

The question seems rather vague. One does not get saved by pleasing God because God cannot be pleased by the works of humans, in and of those works themselves.

No, I'm too capable of judging what is right to be concerned with upsetting God. I tear down and utterly destroy pretensions that set themselves up against Biblical truth ( 2 Corinthians 10:5 )

Here are the key facts about hell that you all miss:

    2 Peter 2:4 ( Hell/Hades is a temporary prison )

Revelation 20:11-15 ( Even atheists will be taken out of hell/hades and judged by their deeds which are recorded in the little books )

Revelation 20:4 ( It will be "these judges" that will be passing around those little books looking for a way to keep atheists from eternal torment )

Isaiah 65:17-25 ( Because of the judges many atheists may get a 100 year second chance - there's always hope )

You atheists should be thankfull for those judges ( 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 ) many of them are some of the least on the earth and even Christians have trampled on them.

All I really care about is helping other people. I do free online counseling for depressed souls. If God sends me to hell there is nothing I can do about it. I will just keep helping people anyway. I do not live my life in fear but in love.

For me it's all about love. That's what drew me to Christ in the first place. Love God and love others, ALL others.

I certainly don't want to upset God.

And, I'm definitely scared of Hell.

But, I thank God that, when I do upset Him, He is gracious to forgive me. And, He does not send us to Hell. We go there because we choose to, by our deciding to reject Christ. Thank God that Jesus is our way out of Hell. He keeps us from going there. If only we believe in Him.

The word of God says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

A Christian can never go to hell. Being a Christian means you

are saved from going to hell, so no matter how much a Christian

sins, they will never end up in hell. They will lose any rewards

that were to come to them, but they will still be saved.

Now what about you? Do you have that assurance? Don't let

there come a time in the future when you wish you had.

Sure. I fear the authority of God just like a kid can be in fear of an authority of a parent.

I am afraid of God period. I know I've done things he doesn't like :(

I'm not afraid of upsetting God, I'm confident that my salvation is secure in Him. With that being said, I don't want to upset God because I love Him.
