White horizontal lines on my comp screen?
Just recently my comp screen has started playing up.lt has white horizontal lines running across it.lt starts with about 1 or 2 until a quarter of the screen is covered in them .l am thinking l may be in for a new monitor.my monitor is about 6 years old.
Thoughts please ......and thank you.

First determine whether your video card is faulty or the monitor, plug the computer into a different monitor, if you still see the lines then your video card is failing. If the lines are gone then your monitor is failing.
