Wifi connection problem?

I have a Toshiba satellite something or other (it's new, only got it a year ago) operating on windows 8. I have wifi at home and it always connects automatically, this is the first time I have had a problem with it. All the other laptops at my house and devices are connecting to the internet with no problem but my laptop keeps telling me there are "no connections available".

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with it or has had this same problem. And suggestion will help, thanks.

Sounds like your wifi cant find your router wifi. Try to see if the ssid is visible and the "Connect Automatically" checkbox is checked.

If it is, than maybe go to the adapter properties in Network Connections and remove your "SSID" of your wifi router and try to connect from scratch. Hope that helps.

The other devices in your home like your smartphone, ps3, xbox, ipad etc are they connecting to your wifi?? If yes, than theres a problem in laptop settings!
