I live in Georgia, but I was born and raised in California. I have to tell you laws about firearms in California are SO stupid. Everybody is safe with their guns here and there are WAY more murders in Cali. People here are peaceful and just enjoy shooting and hunting when the population of deer gets out of control. No one registers their guns here either. You just have to prove that you're sane enough to have one to get your permit. I love it. Noone breaks into houses here because everybody has an ARSENAL in their house hahahahah. In cali, I got broken into 4 time while I was at work. They cleaned me out. People in Cali know that you are most likely not going to have a firearm... and even if you did, YOU ARE JUST AS LIKELY TO GO TO JAIL!!! It's amazing the level of stupidity in California. Stand your ground law doesn't exist there. I did research on it. Essentially, they have to be literally killing you before lethal force is ok and you still go to jail for a while to determine guilt. That's insane. I'm sorry. Visit Georgia, by all means. The stereotypes are the same as everywhere else, go to the bad parts and you'll find the bad people.

Edit: I just read that guns have been allowed in schools and churches and bars. I'm going to have to disagree with bars... even in Georgia. That's just asking for trouble. Otherwise, I agree. Arm the good citizens!! So when people try to shoot up places with lots of people, at least someone can respond. Absolutely. I only have one gun with 4 clips and god rest the soul that try's to harm my family. Night night. :)

This is just the kind of thing that makes me want to leave California again. God I'm getting so sick of the protectionist PC society out here.

More, especially if they have good shops with low prices. Want a 300 black out upper and Eotect for my AR but since Alabama already has pretty lax laws and recent shops I can find what I want Here.

    But yes, definity more.

    The same.

I'm happy for them. If anything people should feel safer there. I'd like to see a real American tradition of open-carry everywhere. Just like the old West, when good men carry guns, criminals run and hide.

About the same, my state doesn't have reciprocity with Georgia.

The 2nd Amendment to the constitution has been in our country for over 250 years and should be respected. If we ban all the guns then only the criminals have the guns and that is SCARY. But we do need to have laws that no one can on an automatic weapon. The only guns that the public needs are hand guns for protections and shotguns for hunting. It is not necessary for the public to own semi automatic guns. There are laws that it is illegal for a person to own a silencer on a handgun which is good idea. But the idea that only criminals have hand guns scares the crap out of me so we need the 2nd amendment to protect ourselves.
