why cant i get a cellphone contract?
ok so i started a little late on the whole credit thing. I've now had my credit card for a year.in that year it has gone from 300 to 2000 limit. I've never been late on my payments ever according to credit carma my number is on the 700's. however i cant seem to be able to qualify for a cell phone. idk what type of number or credit score they look for but i cant never seem to pass the credit check. i could easily pay for the phone cash but thats not what i want, i wanna be able to use the contract so it cant help me build a better credit line. should i just put the phone on my credit card? and pay it off
why do i want a contract well most force the contract for family plans and others still do credit check just to give you phones for family plan. i could buy an unlocked phone for 500-600 dollars no problem is just that doesn't help my credit

why do you want a contract anyway. Plenty of good plans with NO CONTRACTS. just buy things on time and DO NOT pay it off soon, just make your payments. Many times the more you owe the better your credit line will get. why that is I don't know.
