what do you think of the stock Icahn enterprises?

This company was founded by Carl Icahn back in 1987 and he still controls 90% of its stock, so the stockholders have nothing to say here. The company has a reasonable good PE of about 11 and it pays about a 6% annual dividend based on the current price, which is outstanding. Their balance sheet looks very good.

What puzzles me is that only 1 analyst is following this stock and he has a 1 year price target of $115 per share. Naturally he rates it a strong buy.

What does concern me is that this stock was hoovering around $40 for about 5 years and in early 2013 started a meteoric rise and peaked in late 2013 at about $150. And what goes up can also come down as is shown in their all-time price chart. Specifically I am referring to the period from 2005 to 2009 and we may be in a similar pattern here. I also don't like like when a 35 year old becomes CEO and pulls down a salary of over $3 million a year, obviously because of the family connection. But that said, I am not trying to talk you out of buying this stock.
