Would you be interested in watching my katas...?

and not only criticizing what I need to work on, but also just watch the katas from a different style? I am a green belt in my style of kempo and I know 7 of the 10 forms.

Update:

I will film me doing them tomorrow or Saturday and put it in a link on here in an update.

Update 2:

My style is sort of a traditional mess, it originated in the 50's and is primarily Kempo karate, but also contains later on Si lum kung fu (not sure if I spelled it right), and I can't remember the name of the other style of karate it originated from, it might be Kyokushin. Its called Karazenpo.

I would look at them. I never look to criticize. But if you ask for my opinion i may give some constructive criticism. I enjoy kata from all styles.

I'd be interested too. By the way, just in case you didn't know, Sil Lum is the Cantonese pronunciation of Shaolin, Just like Shorin is the Japanese pronunciation of Shaolin, so Sil Lum kung fu means Shaolin Kung Fu.

Russell, I would be happy to look over your Kata, as my time allows. I suggest you contact me at pugpaws2@yahoo.com

    Also what is your Style?

Edit: You do not have an email link on your Y/A account. I'd prefer to contact you with any comments I have about your Kata privately. To do that I need your regular email address. contact me directly at pugpaws2@yahoo.com

Yes, please go ahead and post them. That's what we're here for. (And it will certainly break the monotony of bad questions!)

As others said, be careful with what you do with the advice. Some people are not as knowledgeable as they might have you believe. And all of us are in different styles, so, what I would do as a Taekwondo-in could be different than what a Karate-ka would do.

I'd happily watch, but I don't know the Katas so I couldn't help much

Like many, I would not mind but will tell you that as different styles obtain power in different ways, you may get pointers that work against what you are trying to accomplish.

I also wouldn't mind looking at your katas. I don't know much about Kempo so anything I could offer would be general items.
