Automatic doorbell circuit component doubt?
Here is the link:
http://www.electronicshub.org/automatic-doorbell-w...
I am making this circuit on a pcb but the problem is that none of my local electronic stores have a separate transmitter and reciever like shown in the circuit diagram. What they do have is a 'HC SR-04' ultrasonic transmitter - reciever /transreciever (it has 4 pins for connection - Vcc, trig, echo, GND). And I have no idea as to how I am supposed to attach this to the circuit in place of the transmitter and reciever shown.
I dont know which connection goes on which pin. Anyone have any ideas as to which connection/wire goes on to which pin?
I am trying to this as a project for school. I live in pune, india and the separate transmitter and reciever is not available here or in mumbai.

The HC-SR04 is a modern distance sensor module. I think it would work OK if you removed the transmitter and receiver sensors from the HC-SR04 board to put in your project. Kind of a waste, because that board combined with a Arduino Pro Mini ($2.75 from China) would give you better results.

This circuit requires a 40Kc piezo transmitter and receiver ( both are the same ). This is a waste of time attempt to build it because this parts was almost not existed in market or very expensive because lack of market demand.
