Is there a way to recover my wiped photos on my iPhone 4 without having a back up?
Yesterday, I did a software update on my iPhone 4 and it was restored to factory settings. I had not backed up my photos onto anything for the past year and I lost about 800-900 photos. My contacts are there still, but photos are gone.
Is there a way to recover those photos back at all? I have tried a couple of online data recovery softwares and no luck yet. Also have called some places and they charge anywhere between $495-$895 and that is outrageous. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
I don't know if my answer will help you or it is too late.
However, I think if you have synced your iPhone with your iTunes, the iTunes will automatically generate a backup file on your computer for your iPhone 4. So that is the only chance for you to get your photos back freely. You can just connect your iPhone with your iTunes and choose restore backup and you are allowed to choose your iPhone and which backup file to restore.
This is the only free way you can do it. But you need to keep in mind that if you restore your iPhone with your backup file, all the new info will be swiped at the same time. So if you don't want loose the new info, some third party software will help you, as far as I know Aiseesoft FoneLab can help users to recover photos from iTunes backup file easily. The reason users loves it is it allows users to choose which data to recover and never swipe the info on users' iPhone. The software just recover the software and transfer them to your computer. So you can just import your photos to your iTunes and then sync to your iPhone 4 with iTunes easily.
Hope it can help and not too late.

If you do not have a backup in your iTunes, I am afraid that it is impossible to recover your photos.
