Teacher Lost My Essay?

Hello, So I am a 10th grader who did an English Essay for the whole week. We are allowed to do 5 paragraphs in class only for 5 days. But today is friday and the teacher lost my essay. I don't know what I would do. She told me I have to do it again. What is an good approach to tell her that I think that she lost it and I am 100% sure I didn't take it home and it was her who lost it. Please I don't want to make her mad.Thank you for the asnwers!

The time and energy you wasted on planning this, is it really worth it? Or, you could have written the paragraph again by this time? Do not make your life complicated. Yes, she might have lost it and yes, she shouldn't have done it,

But, ask yourself- do you want to go after her and be anxious, worried, tensed (because you might have to through a series of activities like complaint, inquiry, parents meeting etc.) for the next few days? or you will be the bigger person and do the paragraph again and forget the whole thing? Ask yourself. I wish you all the best.

NO tell her to find it or u will tell the principle and if she's against it and the principle wont do anything about it then tell ur parents to do something about it and that make ur teacher to give u a A on the essay for being irresponsible.

PLUS do make her mad cause she has to own up for her mistakes
