I don't get it. Do criminals wake up in the morning thinking of ways to harm other people.?

    Yes, for some people this is a way of life. Many suffer from some type of mental challenge and a lot has to do with ones socioeconomic condition. A poor person may feel that the only way to get what they want is to steal it. A person with anger problems may lash out in anger. etc,

    Some people just are trouble all day long.

    Depends on the crime.

    Rapists likely do fantasize of victimizing people. However some crimes are out of desperation, circumstances that push people to do things they normally would never do, such as robbery or other crimes to merely try as a desperate attempt to survive.

    I'm sure some do but them I think it's because of a bad choice. Just heard on the news that a 16yr old boy killed a 16yr old girl because she said no to going to the prom with him. So I think this kid has made a poor decision which he is going to pay for the rest of his life. So sad.
