Would you buy a job position, so that you won't be unemployed?
What if there is a company that sell their company position to the highest bidder, for example-you are unemployed for the past years, and you found a company and applied therein. But in the HR department the head of the HR department offered you a position that is presently vacant in their roster but you have to buy it, with a certain amount of money. A security of tenure, that a contract is laid out for you with incentives and an average salary to go with it. Are you willing to buy this position? I know this is wrong, and an open invitation for corrupt practices inside the company. But as a desperate guy who cannot find a suitable employment for the past years, are you willing to buy a company position? What do you think?

No way. I would never pay for a job and I would not want to be associated with any company that was charging people for a job.

Why would you want to work at a company that "sold" positions to the highest bidder? Think about what kind of co-workers you would be dealing with.... unqualified, inexperienced, incompetent, over-entitled, lazy ..... kinda like lords in the middle ages.

If you have been offered the job by the head of HR who are you bidding against? The offer will be to the strongest candidate. There won't be any offer to anyone else otherwise we would already have a system where the man to get the job is the first one to say 'aye'.
It wouldn't work.
