Fellow atheists how can we bestput our message across that there is no proof that 'god' has ever existed?

Should we bombard the religious with scorn or should we roll out the mantra of logic? Should we tackle the obvious shamans common amongst (particularly) American religious "snake oil" dealers who preach more for money than any desire to ascend to "heaven" - whatever that is? How can we best put our message that there is no god?

Why bother whatever you say there will be people like Khalil Ullah who claim that ;there is masses of evidence that god and Jesus exists despite the fact that all the accounts are second or third hand and written by people who are trying to twist and invent facts to make a point. There are roman records about early Christianity as there is for a number of religions that were about at the time and, of course, the Roman writers have just transferred the stories about Mithra to fit Jesus. Of course there are other major religions still around putting forward quite different accounts of who or what god is but with an equally amount of authority

God or no God is a question of faith. No proof can satisfy believers or non-believers either way. You can debate till the sheep come home but at the end of it all, you will only believe what you want to.

Dont bother,it's pointless. People believe in their gods despite logic and reason not because of it.

Pouring scorn is the behaviour of an immature mind (Yah, boo, sucks, etc)

Clearly you declined the 'mantra of logic' as logic demands there can be no 'proof' either way.

To disprove God one needs to know everything.

A god that was within the grasp of a finite mind would,

    self-evidently, not be God.

    Nice approach.

Perhaps to tell them what you know, or think you know, it would be better to first try not slapping them as you say it to them.

Not going to convert many by slapping them.

If you really want something to be true, proof and logic is irrelevant - apparently.

Aren't you being terribly arrogant to assume that you already know everything?

"The only thing we can know for certain is that we can never know anything for certain" Socrates.

“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.” Confucius.

“To know, is to know that you know nothing. That is the meaning of true knowledge.” Socrates.

Like this: " there is no proof that god has ever existed. If you think otherwise then clearly outline your counter arguments. Then rethink them.... No really. Spend at least an hour on this. If you are still confident that your argument holds water then finally come to me with it. If not... Please don't say it anyway" :D
