  • If you were to commit suicide how would you do it and what kind of statement would you like to make?

I'm not suicidal and if you find the topic too depressing then I accept your opinion but personally think you are dull in this respect....unless you had a suicide in the family...my condolences.

  • Remember that show on mtv, roomraiders?

When they were checking the bedsheets for sperm stains did you ever stop to think that it could just as easily be blood stains? Haha

  • Is my girlfriend unreasonable?

So she's had my facebook password for a good while now and I didn't mind until our last argument, after which I changed it without telling her (I admitted that I at least should have told her but that's as far as I went. I said that I wanted some of my privacy back and to that she said "there's no privacy in a relationship" and I disagreed bluntly.

Anyway, do you think it's unfair that I took away her ability to check my messages and so on or should she not be mad at this at all. I feel I'm right in every respect except that I didn't let her know that I was changing it... so the kind of advice that would help is the kind that let's me see it from her point of view (even if it's the case that you think she is wrong)

So give it your best shot people, what's your opinion? :D

  • Girlfriend threatening suicide?

So my girlfriend is threatening to commit suicide if we break up. I'm going to break up and there's no doubt about it but what should I do? I don't know how serious she is about it and I've heard it a million times, people saying their other half threatened suicide....but if she's actually planning to do it then I'm not sure what I should do. She's already prone to things like bulimia and she picked up smoking and drinking (which I do myself but she only does it to escape her problems and ends up getting wasted) and she gets upset and moody easier than any other girl I've ever been with. I have a feeling that she would like to make her parents believe I tormented her or something..

    So what should I do?

  • Is ayurveda a useful form of medicine?

I don't really want to hear from somebody who took it and "felt great" as a result :D

I'd like to hear from a doctor or at least somebody studying medicine.

I know the obvious stuff like don't replace medical help with Ayurveda, but in cases of sickness or trying to promote a healthy lifestyle does it work to any degree?

  • What is a good way to escape reality for a while?

I don't have the money for psychedelics or alcohol right now (and they aren't what I had in mind anyway). I want some kind of sober escapist idea/game/thought process. Please don't get preachy, I have no problems other than boredom, I'm not avoiding anything important now that it's after midnight anyway :D

  • Breaking up with my girlfriend?

So I've been going out with a girl for a while now and we've gotten extremely serious in a short time. It's a long distance thing and I travel a lot to go see her (which is bloody expensive). It was really really nice for a while but now we always have arguments over incredibly stupid things and she sets double standards constantly which drives me insane. She also has very little trust in me, if I talk to another girl and she finds out then she will want to see the fb conversation and will inevitably find something I said that was too friendly (ascii art for example...apparently this ":P" is flirting). Anyway... I hope you're intrigued so far lol

She absolutely loves me despite the difficulties we have in getting along. So it makes breaking it off seem like the most painful thing in the world right now. I'm not so up in space that I don't realize that it's hard for everyone but that kind of advise does nothing to help whatsoever and everyone who has told me that so far knows quite well that it's a whole different story when you're in the position yourself.

So I know that this relationship is terrible, but I refuse to be rude in breaking up. Even though she's a complete tw@ I know quite well that she is vulnerable as hell and she's going to be devastated and shocked. I've hoped for a long time that she would break up with me because of one of the arguments but it never happens and I feel that I'm being a complete sh*thead for not just telling her.

So tell me; how does a savage like me go about a civil break-up like you fine people? :D

  • Should I get checked for bipolar disorder?

My girlfriend and I have been have this ongoing argument about whether or not I should go get tested for the chances of developing bipolar disorder (her idea not mine). I've never suffered from depression or mania nor do I have any symptoms relating to bipolar disorder... her basis for telling me to get tested is that my dad has it so it's possible that I could get it too -_-

    So the question is:

    1. Is it even possible to accurately test the chances of developing the disorder later in life?

    2. Is there a need to take any action at all?

  • A website with scarier stories than creepypasta?

Anybody know a website that has really good scary/horror stories. I looooooove them more than anything and all my friends keep directing me to creepypasta, but creepypasta is terrible...like really really bad. I need something that's scary on a whole different level. Emm also I should add that I suspend disbelief often, so a story being true doesn't add to the scariness of it, not in the slightest. It can be fact or fiction but it has to be incredibly scary either way.

  • Hey christians: Isn't it true that there's absolutely no proof and no way to prove the existence of god?

Because if he created the universe from nothing then even if he exists we can never trace it back to him. We'll run into a dead end. It will only ever be an assumption.

    Well...until I die that is.

  • Try put this as simply as possible?

Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.

and since it's likely many of you know where I read it, please don't ruin it lol

  • Do you think that too often we make theist/atheist debates about higher intellect and pwnage?

We don't need to think of each other as opposing sides. It kind of creates an obstacle for people in religious families or with religious friends to become atheist and I'm not sure how widespread it is for the other way around but there's probably still lots of ridicule for going from atheist to theist (some will probably say rightly so, but that's kind of the point I'm trying to make...it's not right).

    In conclusion

Tolerantly educating each other to make informed decisions = good

Ridicule = bad, wrong way to go about it, waste of time etc. etc. etc.

  • Are you also excited about the first anti-christmas?

I for one can't wait. Santa who was previously disproven will manifest in the form of a wolfman and give us the gift of some poor christians presents along with a methodist soul for good luck in the coming new-new year. Don't forget to leave out milk and a sheep for him.

  • Did you know there really is a god?

It's me and I created you all roughly 19 years ago as far as I can remember. Though I doubt you'll believe that because I gave you all memories that to some of you may feel happened a good while before 1992. Anyway I'm telling you because I've grown bored of this layer (a layer is what you exist in right now, think of reality as a cake, I can't just delete it, I can only build a new one on top and make you believe it's reality as a whole, hence you can only see the outside of the cake)(Also I'd like to add that you can't cut into the reality cake and see the layers because it just doesn't work that way, that's how I came up with the saying "you can't have your cake and eat it too" haha) Anyway that brings me to the important part. I'm done with this layer and I'm making a new one. Don't worry, you won't know. In fact by the time you've read this I'll have already done it and you'll assume I'm talking ****. You're going to dismiss everything I say and believe life is the same as it always was. Have fun now...

  • Atheists: Do some of you actually enjoy logging on to repeat "no I don't belive in fairytales" over and over?

Stuff along those lines. Is it that much fun to say the same crap with no thought in it repeatedly.

Theists.....I have 4787 characters left and they wouldn't be enough to tell you the problems with your answers :D

  • If god exists then morals are only objective until he changes them?

    lol

Also they would be subjective in gods opinion wouldn't they? Soooo objective morals are non existent :D

    6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years ago
  • If god exists he can't control existence. Would you agree?

He created laws for how the universe works and he doesn't seem to have to follow them. In many cases for something to break such laws you would assume it would create catastrophic results for anything following the laws in close vicinity. I think he would have to recreate the universe every time he wanted to personally change something. So it seems the best way for god to control the universe would be......not to exist :D Which is...well...not very possible.

Obviously I can't back this up with the my limited knowledge but I just want to know what you think.
