Hey christians: Isn't it true that there's absolutely no proof and no way to prove the existence of god?
Because if he created the universe from nothing then even if he exists we can never trace it back to him. We'll run into a dead end. It will only ever be an assumption.
Well...until I die that is.

Where did this assumption that it came from nothing come from? The Bible says it came from things unseen--that's all.
Proof. Obviously, a God making all those outrageous claim in addition to the threat of eternal damnation must have a way to prove his own existence, at least.
And he has done so. The proof is received when we earnestly seek God on his terms. We need at least a willingness to consider repenting before he will give us anything. The hardened sinner/skeptic/professed atheist receives nothing (not that he's really looking).
We repented and turned the control of our life over to God. In response, he gave us the Holy Spirit to dwell along with our spirit; thus have all the proof we need.
It is a fact, not an assumption. Assumptions find their root in ignorance.

Well for the Christians the proof is in the "book". When I think about it I wonder what the God would do to prove it's existence? If God is equally present everywhere in everything...omnipresent which is what I believe then where can we be where God is not? I don't see God as some superior being out there but the very being that we experience and all that experiences being anything even an atom. It even says that in their book "we live and move within His being".

well the bible is historically accurate it matches up with so many other written documents at the time however you would have to believe the parts about God BUT Jesus was real and he performed miracles and since Jesus is our God and there is proof of him does that mean there is proof of God? well u would have to believe Jesus is God first. Proving Gods existence right now is a bit of a head scratcher. Perhaps exorcisms? demonic torments and all that stuff - u would have to then have the logic that if demons exist then God exists and well there are 1000's upon 1000's of demon stories even today even in first world countries. And you cannot say the occult is not real... magic has been around and is still around today and hauntings and voodoo and hexes its all demonic so in a way evil proves gods existence. If you dnt believe in that stuff then you need to open your mind explore beyond the walls of science and reason those walls are the death of creativity and imagination but they serve their purpose.

The evidence itself is neutral - neither for or against anything.
Are there predictions one can logically make about the natural world based upon the hypothesis that the world was created? Absolutely
Are those predications testable?Absolutely
Are those predictions supported by the evidence? In many cases yes.
Are there other possible explanations for what is observed? Yes
Given that the events in question (origin of the universe, life) happened in the past and are not happening now can any of the possible explanations be objectively proven correct? NO

the problem arises when the proof that christians have is not sufficient enough to your needs. There is no way we can grab god and place him at your feet and say see there is God. And it seems that is what people who doubt his existence want. We can only give you our testimonies of what God has done and is still doing for us. The way God makes us feel... and the life God wants us to live.... For you its not sufficient and thats just fine... For you it will only be an assumption but for christians it will always be the truth
seek and you shall find....

True, but god wants use to believe not know.
Good people will do good even though there is not evidence for a god that will judge them.
The evil will only do good when they know they will be judged.
Wether or not relgion is real or just made up to give people who cant handle real world stress a bit of peace is irrelevant.
No harm comes from a man dedicating his life to self control and doing good even it is all for nothing. He will contribute more to society than those who steal, rob, murder and deceive.

Not Christian, but I'll answer anyway:
The existence of any deity cannot be proved or disproved, as it falls outside the realm of science. There are also many philosophical arguments about this, one of the most famous, I believe, by Thomas Aquinas.

Yes, there's proof. If you had've been watching for the last 3.5 years then you would have seen that proof.......but it's not too late. There are only twelve hours in a day so start watching.......

For those who know Him, no further proof is required. Knowing someone and living in daily relationship with that person is the ultimate proof of someone's existence. Not knowing someone is no proof of anything.
