Girlfriend threatening suicide?
So my girlfriend is threatening to commit suicide if we break up. I'm going to break up and there's no doubt about it but what should I do? I don't know how serious she is about it and I've heard it a million times, people saying their other half threatened suicide....but if she's actually planning to do it then I'm not sure what I should do. She's already prone to things like bulimia and she picked up smoking and drinking (which I do myself but she only does it to escape her problems and ends up getting wasted) and she gets upset and moody easier than any other girl I've ever been with. I have a feeling that she would like to make her parents believe I tormented her or something..
So what should I do?
Haha I'd love to run home to mommy but I'm not sure how much it will achieve since I'm 20 years old :D Maybe I'll ask them for advice too though thanks :D

it is so unfair of her to hold you to randsom together with her own suicide. Your acceptable to anticipate she does not certainly take her own existence, those that communicate approximately it very infrequently dedicate suicide it is extra a cry for help. call her bluff, tell her you will checklist it to the police if not her mom via fact she's aggravating you and it is against the regulation. additionally point out which you won't be able to hold the guilt with you as quickly as she's lengthy previous (committed suicide) as a result if she ever mentions it back you will sense duty guaranteed to checklist the crime! ask your self her into certainty. each and every of the terrific.

Your best bet is to call social services - although I can understand why that is unappealing.
If you're feeling a little devious, you could try to make yourself unappealing. You could become less attentive to your girlfriend and pretend to form disgusting habits in the hope that she's the one to break up the relationship. If she continues to love you - you might be dealing with a girl that has issues with attachment.

Call the police. They can detain her on a 5150 hold.
EDIT: Or, if you know that by saying the words, "I am breaking up with you" will put her over the edge, you could just break up with her by using the fade away.

Just stop contacting her, taking her calls, and delete her from all your communications. She's trying to guilt trip you into staying with her. Don't fall for it. She's not going to commit suicide and if she does try, it's not your fault. She had bigger issues before you came along.

Tell her you want to be just friends. If you think she's really going to do it, then you should tell her parents or a teacher at your school (idk if you're in school) or something so they can keep her safe. Suicide is serious and trust me you'll feel absolutely awful if you break up ad then she commits suicide.

tell her parents or the mental health services, she's their problem, not yours.

Have sex with her as much as you can then break up :)
