Phone not working very well?

I have an iPhone 4 that I got about a year ago and it was working perfectly until about 2 or 3 months ago. Voice control goes off at random, I'll hang up from a call and then it will call a random person, my apps keep crashing, the lock button is jammed, I can't delete pictures, and my texts will not go through sometimes and when someone texts me, I won't receive it. I also can't send photos. I have reset it many times and I've only let it die 3 times since I got it. I am on it a lot like 3-5 hours a day. Could it be over use? Would help if I bought the same iPhone 4 again? Or should I wait another year and get a 5? Please help

No, overuse can wear down a battery over several years, but no overuse will not hurt an iphone. What I would recommend is if your contract is up, then I would trade it in and upgrade to a newer version as they take trade-ins even if damaged. Its actually cheap to upgrade that way if you get a new one on a new contract. Thats better then putting money into fixing an older version. The other option is just take it to an apple store and have them check it if you want to keep using that version.
