How much do you make at your local flea market/ art fair?

I was thinking of selling my photography, and I was wondering if it was even worth it?

Uh, depends on whether anyone buys your work and for how much.

There is a big difference between a flea market and an art fair. People go to flea markets to get stuff for cheap. They go to art fairs for the ambiance and the quality of the art. An art fair can cost a lot to get a booth. Some art fairs you apply for and they jury applications.

Depends if it's any good and if there's a market for such things in your community. If your mom is the only person who thinks your photography is good, it's probably not worth much. And if you're in a community that struggles to put food on the table and is selling their crap to pay their electricity bill, you could be Ansel Adams and still make no money, because quality photography is a luxury in such a situation.

people dont come to flea markets to buy paintings, they go there to get crappy used stuff. try to submit your painting to some kind of local auction or festival
