Cheap Internet service?
I have a rental house that will be used for business folks, so its short term rentals. Most of them want Internet service. Since the house is now empty what will be my best and least expensive way to have Internet and WiFi service? I am in Los Angeles. Thank you

I think gone are the days where Internet was free on Dial Up for the first 10 hours (anyone remember The Simpsons had free internet around the year 1999 or 2000?!)
But, a good thing is that some local regions have free community internet on a wifi connection as long as you agree to terms. Hook up your modem and see if anything like that exist in your area. Barring that, you'll be stuck getting DSL (via phone wire) or cable internet (cable cable) at their cheapest rates.
I can't speak for LA. But living in the Inland Empire, I used to have Verizon DSL and it was ALWAYS reliable, though their customer service sucked big time. Currently I have TWC which has gone out at least ONCE that I know of and their chat customer service employes circus monkeys. Verizon, for me, is the lesser of the two evil and so I'll go back to them once my TWC contract is up.
It's a toss up.
