How can I get down to my goal weight?

I'm a girl. My height is 5'1 and I weigh 130lbs. I recently went up about 10lbs. I'm busy because of school until may buy plan to start excercizing and eating healthier over the summer. My goal weight is 115lbs but would like to be 105-110lbs by the end of July. I would also like to lose a couple inches around my waist(right now im like 29in). im not very good at running(literally I run like 1 minute and then I'm tired). How can I reach my goal weight(how many calories should j eat a day/exercises etc.) thanks:)

    Hi there,

If you are dedicated to the process, you can reach your goal. What most people don't understand is that improving your health requires a lifestyle change, it requires consistency. Thus, I would recommend that you get the "My FitnessPal app" or the "Calorie counter app". You can just as easily find these off google as well. They let you know exactly how much calories you should be consuming a day in diet and how many you should be burning in exercise. From there it's just a matter of following the directions. Ideally, you don't want to loose more then 2 pounds per week as you will be loosing more then fat at that point which isn't good. As for the running, I realize it's tough at first, my first workouts were tough as well, but you will see as you go on, it will become easier and easier as you go. It's important to work at your own speed and be patient. It's a process not a change over night.

Best of luck and I hope this helps.
