Is my free verse poem good?

I don't get much of the rule of free verse when their is no rule, but I need to know how good is my free verse poem.

- what grade would it be?

-Any helpful advice?

- Anything I should take out, change or add?

Here's my poem

Getting Home From School

As I walk home from school there’s always the same route I take.

through the school’s stairs

then down

I will always notice the same students lingering around the steps.

Down to the sidewalk, this is sort of the moment when everybody is having fun or a chat before everyone leaves home.

Pass the field, I still try to watch out for running kids whether it’s in snow or on grass

I keep walking, getting home fast.

through an alley, the garbage cans will always follow you every step of the way.

The rough road ahead, and even damaged stones.

I cross over a street and I find myself near the end.

I live through this loop almost every school day

My journey ends as I reach my destination

My house.

Update:

Any feed back would be nice

I need something to help me improve on my work

If you want to learn how free verse "works," I recommend the book "Free Verse: An Essay on Prosody" by Charles Hartman. Free verse can use all of the poetic devices that metrical verse can use, except of course for meter. There are still many choices the poet must make, about diction, line breaks, sound effects, narrative arc, metaphor, imagery, etc., etc., etc.
