If the UK leaves the EU, will all the Polish citizens have to leave?

Which foreigners can stay and which would have to leave depends on what the legislator decides in such a situation, but since there's no way that the United Kingdom nor any other country will leave the EU, it's a mute point.

If, purely hypothetically, the UK were to leave the EU, anybody who CAN leave would leave the country, Brits included, as that would start the economic downfall and ultimately the demise of the United Kingdom. It would become a fisher island, isolated from the industrialized world, with most production removed from the country, and unable to export the goods that would still be produced.

Now there is a whole can of worms. What would happen depends on what is negotiated. Will all the British working in Europe have to leave? It will all get very messy.

    Best not leave then.

No because most of them have acquired British citizenship by now.

Why are there so many people so hung up about the Poles? I mean, were it not for them we may very well have lost the Battle of Britain.

I have a very high opinion of the Poles - I work with some of them and they are dedicated, hard working and never complain about anything.

Some of the world's finest pilots are Polish.

Sometimes you just have to do the impossible. Just hope there's a Polish person to do it when it happens.

They would have to apply for work permits but technically they could be asked to leave as the only reason they are here is because we are in Europe and it will also affect duty free goods, back to non eoropean rules

    No
