How do i get points (i know that by answering questions but isn't there another way?)

If your answer is chosen by the asker as the best, you get 10 points. You will also get 1 point for each time a person gives you a "thumbs up" if you are chosen best answer.

On YA? Under the new protocols the only other way to get points is getting one a day for showing up. No more points for voting (best I can figure). Asking has always been a losing proposition; costs 5 to ask, get 3 back for choosing Best Answer.
