What is the coldest that it has got in Hertfordshire (England) in the last few years?
I remember during December 2010 there being a lot of snow and that it was particularly cold but I don't remember if it got particularly cold (Maybe less than -7c)
However my Dad said that one time about 3-4 years ago it was -16 when he started our car and that deicing fluid froze on the windows of our car once but I am not sure if it got this cold.

I wouldn't be surprised at -16 actually there was one night 3-4 years ago where it was widely -10 in the south
