I've been given the chance to swim with a disabled athlete,but my periods on,how can I stop it?

I really want to do this but I need a way without takeing pills (I'm 13) does anyone have a good way?

    ..water stops the period just make sure you quickly get to a bathroom after swimming :)

    if you wan the easiest way just try and use a tampon tbh
