Which Atletico was stronger?
When nobody expected Atletico Madrid to make it to this far (but me and few other Atletico fanatics), they decided to lurk in the shadows playing like a regular club until SUDDENLY BOTH FCB AND CHELSEA GOT THEIR DONKEYS KICKED (plus La Liga first place)! Speaking of the Atletico finals, wasn't there one back then in 1974 when Atletico made it to the finals but then got knocked out by Bayern (Real Madrid got revenge for Atletico by beating Bayern with 5-0 this time and Atletico got revenge for FCB by beating Chelsea as well)? So which time was Atletico stronge? 1974 or today?
Oh btw, I'm never an Atletico fan, just recently they emerged so I support them.

This Atletico de Madrid is stronger than the Atletico of the 1974 season.
The success of the Atletico de Madrid is not a "total" surprise. They won "la Copa del Rey" in the 2013 season against the Real Madrid. In the Last 4 years they won 2 Uefa Europe League, 2 Uefa Super Cup. They were third in the last season. They had always been considered a strong team in Spain. In previous seasons they were considered not as strong as the Real Madrid or the Barcelona, but they were always considered a team with great players. Diego Simeone changed the mentality of this team and now this team is very strong.
i don´t say that this is not a surprise, what i said was that is not a "total" surprise.
