A tv anchor on MSNBC was arguing for the self determination of palestinians in east Jerusalem. Shouldn't east Ukraine have the same right?

Actually, if you have studied the history of Russia, East Ukraine has always been closer to Russia than to the rest of the Ukraine. Also, like Poland, for the past 2000 years various people and Nations have ruled Ukraine and very rarely has Ukraine been independent.

As for the Palestinians, why don't you learn the history of what is going on and why the Palestinian State didn't surface until after the 7 day war in 1965? Hint, it was because of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordon all controlling part of what is now the Palestinian State and all of the refugee camps were set up by the 4 Nations that I have just named not by Israel. Too bad the liberal media can't be bothered to report facts.

Sure. Now are you going to die to defend that right for either party or just talk cheap words.

Uh did the unnamed TV anchor on MSNBC achieve self determination for Palestinians in east Jerusalem? If so maybe they can do the same for the Ukrainians, if not then it was just an airing of his/her opinion on the matter and kind of useless.

sure -- Eric, next you know you'll be arguing the Chechnya should have same right.

oh, wait. Putin wouldn't like that.

    how about Tibet?

Source(s): get real -- it's about having the power to do what you want and being willing to seize what you want. 'nice' doesn't enter into it.

    No

East Jerusalem is a country occupied by a foreign power.

    The East Ukraine is not.

    Your secessionist sympathies are showing.
