Where can I find Yahoo Avatars.?

You must create your own avatar using software on your computer or download one from one of the many avatar sites on the web. Keep the avatar small. The displayed avatar is 48x48 pixels and under 5k. A very large avatar may become distorted or blurry. I recommend keeping it square and under 100k. Yahoo no longer has a site to create one. It closed on 4/1/13.

In order for your avatar to appear you must make your Yahoo! Profile visible if not already. Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ and make sure the profile is not hidden. There is no reason to hide your profile. Nothing appears unless you enter it and turn a switch on.

Either go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about and click on "change photo" or go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ and click on the current avatar. Upload one or choose an existing one. I have found that the avatar is changed immediately except for the leaderboard and the top answerers list. That can take up to 24 hours.

Yahoo no longer provides avatars however you can create one from other free sites like the links below, there are many more on the internet.If you are on wireless you must wait until you are on a computer.

It may not be known by to many people that have there Yahoo avatars but they can be stolen .

If you know someone that has there yahoo avatar and can use there computer you can write your self a email and attack the avatar and its down load to your e-mail and send it to yourself. open it and use it, Then you can send it back when your done but if something goes wrong you loose the Avatar .
