How can I get a motorcycle?
Here's my problem: I have no money to buy a bike, or insure it, to store it or to perform even the most basic maintenance on it.
But I *really* want one. Preferably a new, red Ducati Monster, but I could also make due with a Triumph Bonneville or Scrambler or a H-D V-Rod.
So how do I work this? What's the angle?

Your best bet is to first get a job. Even working at McD or Wal Mart is preferred to no job. Then, Save up about $2000. Then, Look for a used Japanees bike around $1500. That leaves you enough for tags, insurance, and a helmet. The best month to buy a motorcycle is November. When December rolls around all the girlfriends are buying motorcycles for their man. Come January people are starting to think about riding again. Interest rates and purchase prices are lowest in November. That is, unless you live somewhere that the weather is nice year round.

DUDE !..." Wishing for the moon" will never get you there. Few things in Life worth having are free , and ANY vehicle will cost you money.
Realistically, you will need to earn some money and learn to plan and organize your Life to accomplish the goals (and get the things) that you hope to have.
The world owes you nothing, and accomplishing things is a process.
I am glad you like motorcycles , but buying one , maintaining one , learning to ride one and living your Life will take more than JUST stating what you want.
Figure getting a job to make money, and plan how best to afford the things you want. Good luck. Peace.

Assume this is a bogus question. Motorcycle riding is not a cheap hobby/sport/lifestyle, if you want a cheap means of transport then purchase a low capacity scooter, they cost pennies, insure for pennies, run for pennies, and can be repaired with a screwdriver and a hammer.
If you ask a stupid question, you're going to get stupid answers. Besides, only an idiot buys a brand new £13000 motorcycle for their first bike.

Go around to people that have them and ask them to give it to you, see how well that works out. You will probably end up with what you have now.
I do have one, but I am not going to give it to you.

You don't deserve anything you don't work for. Kids today. Stupid "everybody gets a trophy" mentality.

Yeah if you can't afford to maintain or store one. You shouldn't get one. If you don't have enough money to buy one. Than you are s.o.l.
