Are you willing to pay 20 cents more, per item, in every store in order for obama to get his $10.10 minimum wage gimmick number?

effectively driving inflation through the roof? almost sounds like Hermann cains $9.99 tax plan

I'll gladly pay a dollar more, because I believe people should make a living wage. If you think everyone working for 35 cents an hour is going to make a good economy, you are living in some bubble somewhere.

You mean 20 extra cents for a dollar candy bar? Is that a 20% inflation rate?

Sorry but some people are not worth 10.10 a hour. They have no idea how to work, prove your self first?

Yes, I am willing to pay more for a pay raise that will lift all wages. It sure beats paying more for nothing, like the last 30 years.

I think, deep down the democrats are glad the GOP defeated that bill from going through.

the CBO says the wage increase will kill 500,000 jobs so no.

Of course I am. It will not drive inflation through the roof.

And regarding the "CBO predicts job loss" report, note that the CBO is projecting what *ought* to happen based on economic modeling. The consensus among economists is based on what’s *actually been observed* to happen.

Translation: CBO--this might happen. Reality--this is what has happened.

Each time there is a conversation about minimum wage, cons run around like it's going to destroy America. And somehow we survive. Real-life examples show that there is minimum if any job loss; and in some states an increase in employment.

Just like all the other countries in the world that got bankrupted by introducing a minimum wage
