Which country in the Elder Scrolls do you think the Empire represents?
I was thinking the Roman Empire or maybe the Holy Roman Empire but what do you guys think?

Well I'd say The Empire is based on the European Union with each race representing different nationalities. For example I think the Imperials are Americans due to the speech abilities and the need to control everything from behind the scenes, and the Bretons are obviously Britain as this is what The Roman Empire called the citizens of Britain.

No it's not a country they are based off of. It's a terrorist group. It's based off of Al Qaeda. The Septims are based off of Osama and his children and best followers. No joke. It was not actually planes that destroyed the twin towers. It was Tiber Septim (aka Osama Bin Laden) FUS RO DAH-ing the towers. They had suicide pilots crash into it to disguise his dragon born powers. Hope I was chosen as the best answer!
