ABS/Trac off sensor/service light?
I have a 2004 chevy cavalier. These lights go on once the car starts moving and stay on . Any ideas? wheel sensor maybe? the car breaks fine and no strange noises or anything
Does a bad wheel sensor effect the ability to drive safely? It will be a few days before I could get it to a mechanic

Yes you have one or more bad wheel sensors. A scan tool will tell you which one if you can't see something obvious like a bad wire or broken sensor.

The wheel sensor is built into the wheel bearing. Very common failure--almost 100%. You lose your ABS and traction control. If you think that's not a safety factor then keep driving it. Here's an article on how to fix it.
