Chevy Venture won't start (one click)?
2003 Chevy Venture. I recently replaced both oxygen sensors, then left the van sitting for a few days. Next time I tried starting it, the dash electrical was flickering like crazy. For each startup attempt, it would just click once. I charged the battery. Still same thing.
Battery has seemed to drain a bit over the past couple days again. Didn't even 'click' this morning. My OBD reader is showning 'no link'.
I plan to clean the battery terminals and check the fuses. I'm hoping it is just a bad battery terminal connection. Maybe I'll disconnect the oxygen sensors temporarily to make sure they are not causing a short or drain. Any other ideas?

This is most often a bad body control module. The clue was the "no link". When the BCM goes, it screws up the digital data line and the scan tool can't communicate with the PCM.
Turn the key and the PassLock system communicates with the BCM to verify the correct code. The BCM communicates with the PCM and gives it the go ahead to activate the starter relay in the fuse box. The BCM also control the instrument cluster.

May be a bad battery. Usually charging a bad battery causes it to still be a bad battery. I would put a load tester on the battery & see if it is any good. Technically your not suppose to charge bad batteries anyway. But I would be leaning on the battery, make sure connections are tight & free of corrosion. If you see that hairy greenish looking stuff all over it, that to can cause very high resistance & cause a no crank issue as well. Cable & clamps need to be clean & free of any corrosion.

It's just the battery. Charge it up or get a new one.
Happened to my car a few weeks ago.
