Does five pounds make a difference?
So I weight 101 pounds and I'm 5 foot 6, and I realize that I'm underweight. My plan is to gain five pounds by the middle of June. Will I see a difference?

I agree that you are on a lighter side for your height (your BMI is 16 = underweight), your suggested weight is 51-70kg (112-154 pounds). 5 pounds in general isn't as noticeable than 10-15 pounds, i would suggest consulting your doctor to see if there's any supplements or food groups you can focus eating on to gain more weight.

It doesn't make TOO much of a difference, but you will look less underweight. You will be able to notice, and you will be happy with that.
