A question about 60 Hz vs 120 Hz on HD TVs?

I am looking at getting another Samsung HD TV.

I bought a 32 inch 720 resolution with 60 Hz refresh rate not long ago.

I am very pleased with it. I don't see any of the ghosting on it when watching sports such as hockey. That TV was for the bedroom.

The TV I am looking at is only slightly larger at 39 inches. The resolution is 1080 but the refresh rate is still only 60 Hz.

Is that 60 Hz refresh rate going to be a problem with a 39 inch screen?

I have heard it can be if the TV size is greater than 32 inches.

When it comes to htz there is a lot of hearsay and it's also mis understood.everything is broadcasted in 60 HTZ and when a TV has 120 it produces artificial frames to reduce motion blur.

with that being said any TV in today's day in age under 40 inches you will not see a difference between 60 and 120. As a matter of fact the new TV this year if you have noticed a lot of them only have 60 in it because technology is going even further by putting separate chips in the TV allowing the TV only needing 60htz

especially in a 32 inch you will not see a difference with the naked eye between 60 and 120 I hope this helps good luck

Provided you stay at the same distance in relation to the picture size, I feel you will be okay. The key to your 32" set is that it is a Samsung - just stick with another Samsung and you'll be fine.
