Ukrainian the Russians deny the rebels are receiving any baking from Moscow -so even if the guy was spetznaz he would not wear a Russian uniform or use Russian equipment.

The troops in the Crimea though were wearing a digital camo that looks a bit like olive drab from a distance.

As far as I can tell it's flektarn, but both Russia and Ukraine use a variant of it, so there is no telling who without getting a better look at the rifle or more of the gear.
