Question about new windows update?
I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 8.1 and it recently updated. I don't like the new update because everything got switched up and now when I close a page it takes me back to the desktop, instead of the start page. I was wondering if there was a way to switch it back, so that when I exit a page it goes back to the start page?

There isn't. Trust me, I hate this update and I cannot reverse no matter what I do. IT SUCKS!

set on the the taskbar properties check the box for start-up and uncheck box for desktop , that was the latest update that you can put app store on desktop task bar

Look at the top of the browser window and make sure it is not a tab. I found that to be a problem with this Windows 7 after the same update. And wind up closing everything, I personally hate tabs. And now it seems tabs are being force fed to us no matter how we set it to be.
