Grant Ward agents of shield?

I think Triplett will take his place. Whether Ward survives depends upon what happens with SHIELD. It no longer exists, so the second season is looking like it will involve the team working as either part of a new clandestine organization or on their own. My money is on the former. They may keep Ward locked up and use him as a resource for going after HYDRA agents and bases. I don't think he can ever be redeemed, but he appears to be more loyal to Garrett than to HYDRA, and Garrett isn't very loyal to him. So while Ward may never be a good guy, he might be willing to cooperate with them in exchange for a reduced sentence or something similar. It's also possible that he'll just be a rogue villain who shows up occasionally as a mercenary.

I don't see how Ward can be back on Coulson's team. He has murdered too many people. I think he is going to do some good deed in the final episode to somewhat redeem himself and then get killed, probably saving Skyy.

I think in season 2 Agent Ward will be back on Coulson's team.

Grant Ward won't die, he could have been under orders from Coulson to do what he did, he is always on Coulson's team but he made Garett think he was working with him.
