Fastest production car to date?
Just watched a show on National Geographic about cars and engineering groups that design them.It didn't say what month or year the show was made but the guide showed it as being in 2014.It said the Hennesey Venom GT is the new record holder at 270.49 mph.Is this in deed the current record holder or is there another car that's faster???

Bugatti Veyron is the fastest production car. There are limited run street legal cars that are faster, but they are not production cars.

As on right now, that is correct but by summer it might be different yet again.
Once you over 250 mpg, does it really matter all that much between 268 or 269 or even 270.
