Where can I find a SNES or NES homebrew developer app?

For Windows of course.

    I don't know much about the SNES but for the NES, I believe there really wasn't a Software Development Kit (if that's what you're asking about). I believe the games were written in assembly language. The NES used a modified Ricoh 6502 CPU called the 2A03 I believe. So if you want to write games for the NES, you must first learn assembly language for the 6502. There's various articles on-line that will help you learn it. One site that has some info on writing games for the NES is http://wiki.nesdev.com./ Google or Yahoo can help you find other sites. Just search for something like: writing NES games 2A03
