Do you think public trains and buses should be required to have seat belts?

    No.

    While I do think that buses and public trains should be recreated in a way that they are much safer in the event of a major accident for the passengers, but seat belts on them is just going to complicate things a little.

    Because what if you were trying to get out at your stop but your seat belt was giving you trouble and it ended up forcing you to miss it?

    It's kinda a waste of time and if there's a fire due to the engine and stuff like that, how are people going to escape fast.. If there's black out in the train, it would be even more chaotic to unbuckle the seat belts? Probably having no seat belts is better than having seat belts.

    I do think seat belts would be a good idea on public school busses. They already have them on all the special ed busses.
