What to do about pigeons?
Hello:
We have a 2 story home and a balcony entirely around the 2nd floor. We have so many pigeons! It's difficult to keep the floor clean, plus they tend to get very noisy. We have tried setting up owls, wind chimes.........nothing seems to help. This is in London, UK, does someone else have this problem? Any advice would surely be appreciated. Our two little girls add to the problem as they are forever in and out. No, they are not allowed to feed them.
Thank you kindly for your time >3

Get an air horn and blast it at them every time they start to land. The girls will be great at this. The pigeons will get the idea and go somewhere else. Putting seed on your neighbor's balcony will help. They will also need to be retrained every once in a while.

pigeons like to roost or sit on areas they have strips with long metal wires on them made for pigeons to keep them from landing on anywhere these strips are located may not be practical if you have a large area also pigeons dont like to get there feet sticky various wet adhesives again made for this type of thing will deter the birds. Besides that get a cat..

The old-fashion way was to put an "OWL" on the roof-top. Many cities just use poison.

A net can be put on the balcony to keep them away.
Source(s): A city had a problem with pigeons, so they called an expert in to take care of the problem. He put something toxic in the water that make them a little high and the pigeons left the area. Wonder if some beer or whisky would work.
