Best way to learn to play the piano?
I don't know why I never tried to learn to play the piano before, because we actually have one in my house. It used to be at my grandparents but we moved it out a few years ago and it just sits in my back room, my sister used to play and they bought it for her.
I've been really inspired lately by piano music. And I was just wondering what would be the best way for me to learn? I don't really want to pay for a teacher, I want to just learn myself and use it as me time. I thought it would be fun to do! Any advice/links/book suggestions would be great!

Getting a teacher will help.
If not record and listen to what you play (it is hard to be objective while playing).
Play every day, even if it's only 15 min.
And don't practice mistakes. If you make one. Keep at it until you get it right…and do it right until you can keep doing it right. Only THEN go on.
