Well, first off, when you're hunting wild mac (short for macaroni-and-cheese, Macaronis lactis), you need to find them in their native habitat. Usually, they're at all-you-can-eat buffets, right next to the mashed potatoes. The mac that comes in small containers at places like KFC is tame mac, and it's not legal to hunt it.

Second, know that wild mac tends to be easily spooked, especially by 400-pound human visitors to its native habitat. Often, almost the entire population of mac-and-cheese will quickly jump onto the plates of less rotund intruders just to escape these massive predators. Repopulating is left to the handful of remaining wild macs that could not escape. Since mac are fairly small, they can usually escape the notice of large predators, but in large numbers they make an easily seen, tasty meal.

Now, to find mac, the best time to hunt is in the early evening, around 7 PM. This will allow the massive 400-pound humans to have already gone home to live in their mothers' basements, and gives enough time that the few remaining macs can breed and repopulate.

I would recommend trying Ryan's first. They seem to have excellent wild mac. And their fried chicken isn't bad, either.

Download the Ubuntu 12.04 or Mint 13 iso file. Burn that file to a dvd, then put it in your computer and boot it up.
