Why is it during Mother's Day no one ever thanks the single dads that have raised their kids alone, but during Father's Day single...?

As a single dad with my kids 70% of the time and no family around to help or watch them so I can run errands, I totally agree. Single dads are forgotten and overlooked too frequently.

I did see somebody post a happy mother's day weekend post on Facebook with a shout out to both single dads and women that want to be mothers, but can't. I saw this yesterday and it really caught me eye because its so rare.

I never heard that Father's Day was for single Moms too. I think Moms get celebrated on their day and Dads on theirs. So there. My opinion is correct. LOL

Because most men don't feel the need to be recognized on a day designated for a woman. Father's Day isn't enough? Quit being an insatiable attention seeker.

single dads are usually forgotten about which isnt good because its just as hard as it is for single mums. but these days ar epointless its like saying u cna treat ur mother/father like **** for 364 days and then for one day u treat them really nice

I was a single mother and never once did anyone wish me a Happy Father's Day. Now I just feel gypped. LOL.

Moms get taken for granted too. Not all mother child relationships are good. After all you do for them and no credit given. I know it sucks from personal ecperience.
