Watched three games on the telly and enjoyed the final weekend but again couldn't help but notice the inconsistency of match officials.
Some of their calls and non-call defy description. How can a referee and a linesman, both mer yards away from the play, fail to see a deliberate jersey pull in the box? Or a referee, no more than 30 feet away, overlook a deliberate elbow to the face of an opponent?
Just two examples of what happens in the EPL week in and week out.
Other than that gripe, I think this has been, arguably, the best and most exciting season since football was re--invented by greed and money some 20+ years ago.
