How can we cure homophobia?

It's the 20th century and intolerance persists. People continue to refuse to love their neighbors and look for reasons to justify bigotry. How can we put an end to this?

    Are you kidding?

It's the 21st century, and homophobia is under attack for the first time, EVER.

In the 20th century, everybody was homophobic, even gay people. So there's no point for you there.

The fact that it isn't "cured" yet is normal.

It takes time for an entire cultural shift. The fact that a mere 10-20 years of pro-gay media has done so well is actually a fantastic success, and the swell of support for the homosexual community, even among many Christian churches, is another testament to the great success of the movement.

Think about what it was like 10-20 years after the civil war, when black people became "free." Heck, the civil rights movement took another century.

    Homophobia is disappearing fairly fast.

    Time.

Time for those raised in bigotry to die out.

Time for the religions to see themselves marginalized and reinterpret their holy books.
