Am I still in the running for job?
I went for a job interview two days ago as a receptionist for a new company. In the interview the person interviewing said I was a perfect candidate for the role, and I took a computer skills and data entry test. It seemed positive until she called me this morning, saying that in the test I didn't put in an equation into Microsoft excel correctly, and asked if I knew the correct way. I did and I told her the correct way, it's just my version of excel was a previous one and didn't have the same functions. My fiancé told me that they wouldn't have called me and asked if I knew the correct way and would've just moved onto the next candidate if they didn't want me but I'm not sure. Can anyone with experience in this industry help me out? I really need this job

You have a very good chance at the job. Your fiance' is right. No one would waste time and money calling someone that they are not interested in hiring. Hang in there and be calm. You could still have the job fall through but only that company knows. There are no industry-wide standards for this sort of thing. Each company is different and sometimes each interviewer is different.
