Buddhists : How is it possible to transfer your spiritual experience to others?

As you know many experiences occur with meditation. Some times trance experiences. But is it possible to make others also experience the trance experience what you yourself experience.

A suggestion : Meditate together and develop your experience , when you start feeling light within you , is it possible that other person also start experiencing the same by -- Induction.

Details : When the experience comes the head swells with power & bliss & you'd experience a glow radiating from you , is it possible that this glow , like electricity (Faraday's law Hah ha) also induces others to make them feel the same thing. Could it be like lighting one lamp with another.

Jiunying - I forgot to tell you that I am already into Vipassana for decades. The same methods you described , we follow already. But I can tell you more, focus on top of your head and try to move inwards , you may get surprised.

Update 2:

Maybe I can conclude that its not possible ..... yet. !!! But I ask everyone to research further.

    " Achieving nirvana/salvation can be compared to curing a disease: if a person is ill, he goes to a doctor. The doctor diagnoses the ailment and prescribes medicine. The medicine must be taken by the person himself. He cannot depute someone else to take the medicine for him. No one can be cured by simply admiring the medicine or just praising the doctor for his good prescription. In order to be cured, he himself must faithfully follow the instructions given by the doctor with regard to the manner and frequency in taking his medicine, his daily diet and other relevant medical restraints.

    Likewise, a person must follow the precepts, instructions or advice given by the Buddha (who gives prescriptions for liberation) by controlling or subduing one's greed, cravings, hatred and ignorance. No one can find salvation by simply singing praises of the Buddha or by making offerings to Him. Neither can one find salvation by celebrating certain important occasions in honor of the Buddha. Buddhism is not a religion where people can attain salvation by mere prayer or begging to be saved. They must STRIVE HARD by controlling their selfish desires and emotions in order to gain salvation."

    My experiences’ regarding the practice of the meditation is during the regular life time, and I believe everyone can experience it if they follow the Buddha’s teaching.

    I practice the body and mind observation for the past four years, the explanation will be based on the body and mind observation.

    The purpose of the body and mind observation meditation is try to train us to be familiar with our body sense, feeling, and mind movements. By the way to get familiar with our sensing system, feeling and mind movement, we will have the ability to observe our emotion process. Once we know the emotion process, how it’s happened, we will know how to prevent it. It will help us to achieve a calm and peaceful life.

    The practice will be started from body observation. The sensing system that is involved is the tangible feel around our nose area when we are in-breath or out-breath. The training is to make us to get familiar with this tangible feel (in case of you don’t understand what I try to tell you, blow air from your mouth to your hand, which is the tangible feel that I want to tell you).

    After sometime, since we are familiar with this tangible feel, it will expend to the area of lung or abdomen. And after sometime, it will expend to the area of whole body. People will be very easy to sense one’s finger has pulse movement because of the blood transmission inside our body.

    Before we start the feeling observation, we will train our sensing system regarding our eye, ear, nose, tongue and mind. It is using the similar training method as body observation that we mentioned above, to train the other five sensing elements.

    The more we train our sensing element, the better sense ability they will be.

    Then, we can train our feeling observation. In the beginning, we will just feel our mad, happy, neutral, sad, etc. different kind of feeling. After a while we will be able to observe this feeling is associated with which sensing elements, the eye, ear, etc. After a while, we will be able to observe the felling itself have its movements, stronger, weaker, or disappeared. After a while, we will be able to observe that there is some thoughts in our brain to cause the feeling.

    After even more of the practice, we will be able to observe the mind, then, the mind movements. We will be able to tell what kind of thoughts is causing what kind of feeling. From then on, people will be able to start to practice how to prevent the emotional feeling happen in one’s mind.

    All the above could be experience by anyone in this world, since I experienced it myself.

    So, if someone understands how the body sensing element and brain work, it certainly will help them to meditate in a better way.
